RESOLUTION NO. 75-4
RESOLUTION OF THE SANTA ANA HOUSING AUTHORITY
AUTHORIZING AN APPLICATION FOR "SECTION 8 -
HOUSING ASSISTANCE PAYMENTS PROGRAM APPLICATION
FOR EXISTING HOUSING"
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana adopted a Housing Assistance
plan in its application for Title I Block Grants which included
400 units of Section 8 Existing Housing in its first year goal;
and
WHEREAS, HUD has approved said Housing Assistance Plan;
and
WHEREAS, HUD has invited Public Housing Agencies in Orange
County to submit applications for Section 8 Existing Housing; and

WHEREAS, HUD has stated that the fair share for the City of
Ana of the 1050 dwellings units allocated to the County area
be 150 units;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LOCAL AUTHORITY, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Board of Commissioners of the Housing
Authority of the City of Santa Ana does hereby approve the sub-
mission of an application to the United States Department of
Housing and Urban Development for 150 existing housing units
under the "Section 8 Housing Assistance Payments Program for
Existing Housing".
Section 2.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately.
