RESOLUTION NO. 77-2
A RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA REPEALING
RESOLUTION NO. 72-15 AND ESTABLISHING
MAXIMUM INCOME LIMITS FOR ADMISSION TO,
AND OCCUPANCY OF, LOW-INCOME HOUSING
LEASED BY THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA.
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana
recognizes the need to provide housing for a broader segment of
~e City's lower and very low income persons and familiesJ and
WHEREAS, Title 24, Code
Chapter VIII, Part 860, permits

of Federal Regulations ("CFR"),
the Housing Authority to
for lower and very low income
WHEREAS, the United States Department of Housing and
Urban Development ("HUD") has determined the permissible range
of incomes for lower and very low income families as contained
in Notice H 76-108 (HUD), dated October 12, 1976J and
WHEREAS, in conformance with 24 CFR 860.2(b) "income"
has been defined by the Housing Authority on page 8 of the
HUD-52659 form entitled "Instructions for Completing Applica-
tion for Tenant Eligibility and Recertification for Section
8 Housing Assistance payments Program," a copy of which is on
file in the office_of the Clerk of the Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Housing Authority
of the City of Santa Ana:
1.
Resolution No. 72-15 is repealed.
2. The proposed revised income limits contained in
Notice H 76-108 (HUD), dated October 12, 1976 are hereby
adopted by the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana.
3. The Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana adopts
the following maximwn income limits:
