RESOLUTION NO. 87- 2
A RESOUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING ITS ADMINISTRATIVE
AND EQUAL OPPORTUNITY HOUSING PLANS

WHEREAS the United States Department of Housing and Urban
Development ("HUD") has issued regulations requiring pubic housing
authorities to submit an equal opportunity housing plan with each
application for participation in a Section 8 Existing Housing
Project, ("Project"); and
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana
("Authority") is duly qualified as a public housing authority to
apply to HUD to participate in such a project; and
WHEREAS, the Authority has received a recently updated equal
housing opportunity plan and administrative plan; and
WHEREAS, Commissioners of the Authority have reviewed each and
every part of the updated plans; and

WHEREAS, it is in the public interest and for the public
benefit that said plans be approved and submitted to HUD.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Administrative Plan and the Equal Opportunity Housing
Plan are hereby approved.
2. The Executive Director of the Housing Authority of the
City of Santa Ana is hereby authorized to submit the approved
plans to HUD in accordance with 24 CFR 882.204(b).
