FOR AOOITIONAL H'XJSING ='.Ll"~CATES UNDER 'IHE SECTION 8
H'XJSING ASSISTANCE P!mRAM FOR EXISTING H'XJSING
WHEREAS, the Hoosin;¡- Authority of the city of Santa Ana is authorized
to administer the ''Housin;¡- Program for the Section 8 Existin;J Pì."",Lam for the
united states Department of Housin;¡- ani Uman Developoent (''HUD"): ani
WHEREAS, HUD notified the Hoosin;¡- Authority of the city of santa Ana
on J\.me 14, 1989 the Section 8 Hoosin;¡- Certificates are available which would
:increase the ]'1I11nher of persons of low ani IOOderate :i11cc:ma who may be assisted
in their haJsin;¡- within the City of Santa Ana; ani
WHEREAS, the Section 8 Housin;¡- Certificates are consistent with our
Hoosin;¡- Assistance Plan (HAP);

Santa Ana as follows:

of Hoosin;¡- ani UJ:ban Devel~.t for up to one humred (100) additional Section
8 Hoosin;¡- Certificates in conjm!Ction with the "q,E!ration Bootstrap Program" is
hereby approved ani designated an emergency matter.
2. 'nJe Executive Director of the Hoosin;¡- Authority of the City of
Santa Ana is hereby authorized ani directed to take all necessary steps to file
said application ani to provide such infOJ:mation as may be required.
