RESOLUTION NO. 99-03
RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING SUBMISSION OF AN
APPLICATION FOR THE SECTION 8 WELFARE-TO-WORK HOUSING
VOUCHER PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana (PHA) is
authorized to administer the U Housing Assistance Section 8 Housing
Voucher Prograrn" for the United States Departrnent of Housing and Urban
Developrnent (U HUO" ); and
WHEREAS, HUD noticed on January 28, 1999 that vouchers were
available under the Section 8 Welfare-to-Work prograrn and has required
that the PHA file an application for these vouchers by April 28, 1999;
and
WHEREAS, the PHA desires to enter into a Section 8 Annual
. Contributions Contract (U ACC" ) with the Department of Housing
Developrnent for the Section 8 Housing Voucher Prograrn.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PHA as follows:
1.
The subrnission of an application to HUO for vouchers is hereby
approved.
2.
The Executive Director of the Housing Authority is hereby authorized
and directed to execute the application and to take all necessary
steps to file said application and execute all docurnents in relation
to successful application.

This Resolution shall take effect irnrnediately.
