A regular meeting of the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana was held on July 17, 1972, at 2:00 P.M., at the City Hall Annex, 530 North Ross Street, Santa Ana. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Jerry M. Patterson. The following members of the Commission responded to the roll call: Vernon S. Evans Lorin Griset Wade Herrin Ray Villa Harry K. Yamamoto Jerry M. Patterson There were also present by invitation the following: . - Bruce Spragg, Secretary Pro Tem James A. Withers, City Attorney Florence I. Malone, Recording Secretary MINUTES The full reading of the Minutes of the Annual Meeting held on July 3, 1972 was waived and the Minutes were approved as mailed on motion of Commissioner Herrin, seconded by Commissioner Evans and unanimously carried. . . The City Attorney distributed copies of a letter dated July 12, 1972, from the Department of Housing and Urban Development regarding adoption of a Resolution establishing a policy whereby the reasonably estimated average operating expense, including Rent to the Owner, is no greater than 90 percent of the Achievable Dwelling Rent and the Basic (Fixed) Annual Contribution payable by HUD. The letter was read aloud by the Chairman. BILLS AND COMMUNICATIONS " RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA INDICATING ITS INTENT TO CONTROL ANNUAL ROUTINE OPERATING EXPENSES, AND TO ESTABLISH AVERAGE ANNUAL TENANT RENTS TO INSURE THAT FOR PROJECT #CAL 93-1 THE REASONABLY ESTIMATED AVERAGE ANNUAL OPERATING EXPENSE, INCLUDING RENT TO THE OWNER, IS NO GREATER THAT 90% OF (1) ACHIEVABLE DWELLING RENT, AND (2) THE BASIC (FIXED) ANNUAL CONTRIBUTIONS BY HUD was adopted on RES. 72-10 , " . . . motion of Commissioner Griset, seconded by Commissioner Yamamoto and carried on the following roll call vote: AYES: Villa, Griset, Yamamoto, Patterson, Herrin NOES: Evans ABSENT: None .
