MINUTES
HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA
February 20,1973
A Regular meeting of the Housing Authority of the City of
Santa Ana was called to order by Chairman Jerry M. Patterson
at 2:05 P.M., in the Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center
Plaza, Santa Ana. The following members of the Authority
responded to the roll call:
Vernon S. Evans
Wade Herrin
Lorin Griset
Harry K. Yamamoto
Jerry M. Patterson
Absent:
Ray Villa
There were also present by invitation the following:

James A. Withers, Attorney for the Authority
Florence I. Malone, Recording Secretary
Joe Cordero, Reporter for the "Register"
MINUTES
The full reading of
the Minutes of the
Regular Meeting of
1973, was waived and the Minutes were unanimously
mailed on motion of Commissioner Herrin,
Commissioner Yamamoto.
January 15,

seconded by
SCHEDULE OF INCOME LIMITS
The letter dated
February 1,1973, from
the Department of Housing
and Urban Development, from Howard C. Bricken, Los Angeles
Area Economist, approving the Schedule of Income Limits fixed
by the Authority on November 20,1972, was received and filed,
on the unanimously approved motion by Commissioner Herrin,
seconded by Commissioner Evans.

In addition, Mr. Spragg reported that his primary concern is
receipt of the funding from HUD and employment of the
Housing Coordinator.
Mr. Manuel Rede, Assistant to the City Manager for Community
Relations stated that application requests for housing are
in process; that press releases are being prepared; that the
first quarter funding allotment is scheduled to arrive approx-
imately March 1,1973 and the second quarter, sometime during
the month of March.
