MINUTES HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA May 12, 1975 The Special Meeting of the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana was called to order at 2:03 P.M., by Chairman Harry K. Yamamoto, in the Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana. The following members of the Authority responded to the roll call: Present Absent David F. Ortiz John Garthe Vernon S. Evans David L. Brandt James E. Ward Harry K. Yamamoto, Gordon Bricken Chai rman The following persons were also present: Manuel Rede, Executive Director-Secretary Charles Liberto, Acting Ci ty Attorney Bruce C. Spragg, City Manager Florence I. Malone, Recording Secretary Representatives of the Press MINUTES The full reading of the Minutes of April 21, 1975 meeting was the unanimously seconded by Com- waived and they were approved as mailed, on carried (6-0) motion of Commissioner Evans, missioner Ward. BILLS AND COMMUNICATIONS REPORT OF DIRECTOR STATUS REPORT Nothing to report. The report of the Director dated May 2, 1975, and the trial balance for April, 1975, were received and filed on the unanimously carried (6-0) motion of Commissioner Ward, seconded by Commissioner Garthe. The report described the activity of the Section 23 Leased Housing Program, the Revised Section 23 Housing Assistance Payment Program and the Revised Section 23, HAP-New Construction Program. Ninety-seven of the 100 leased units are occupied and 29 Certificates to subsidize family rentals under the HAP Program were issued on April 16,1975. A schedule of events for the Senior Citizens Housing Project was provided, indicating that complete acquisition of the property site by the Redevelopment Agency must take place on or before October 1, 1975. REPORTS OF COMMITTEES Nothing to report. UNFINISHED BUSINESS Nothing to report. A RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA SELECTING NATIONAL HOUSING CONSULTANTS AS DEVELOPERS FOR 200 NEW HOUSING UNITS, was read by title only and the full reading was waived on the unanimously carried motion of Commissioner Evans, seconded by Commissioner Garthe. Resolution No. 75-3 was adopted on motion of Commissioner Garthe, seconded by Commissioner Evans and unanimously carried (6-0). RESOLUTION NO. 75-3 . 8 . . . . .
