HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA
February 17, 1976
The Regular Meeting of the Housing Authority of the City of
Santa Ana was called to order at 4:29 P.M., by Chairman Harry
K. Yamamoto, in the Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza,
Santa Ana. The following members of the Authority responded
to the roll call:

the following documents were received and

The Monthly Report for the Section 23 Leased
Housing (Existing Units), indicating that 83
of the 100 authorized units were under lease
as of February 1, 1976 and that 80 are occupied
by tenants.
January 31,1976, Trial Balance for the Section
23 Leased Housing Program, indicating a balance
of $575,233.96.

The Monthly Report for the Revised Section 23 -
Housing Assistance Payment Program (HAP),
indicating that 46 of the 50 units authorized
by HUD were under lease and occupied by tenants
as of February 1,1976; that as of February 1,
1976, 107 certificates have been issued and 46
occupy a home or an apartment.

January 31, 1976, Trial Balance for Revised
Section 23 - Housing Assistance Payments Program
(HAP), indicating a balance of $117,779.00.
The Monthly Report for the Section 8 Program
(Existing Units), indicating that from October 21. '
1975 to February 1, 1976, a total of 80 units were
under lease and that during January, 1976, 46
certificates have been issued for the very low
income and 5 for the low income making a total of
51 certificates issued.

a balance of $80,695.79.

The Status Report - Housing Authority Advisory
Board, dated February 9, 1976, reporting on the
status of plans for implementation of a Housing
Advisory Board to comply with the state law (SB 1127).

The Status Report - Santa Ana Towers (New Construction
Project - Senior Citizens) dated February 10, 1976,
including the planned follow up schedule.
