MINUTES
HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA
April 19, 1976
The Regular Meeting of the Housing Authority of the City of Santa
Ana was called to order at 2:06 P.M., by Chairman Harry K. Yamamoto,
in the Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana. The
following members of the Authority responded to the roll call:

The full reading of
the minutes of the
Regular Meeting of
March 22,1976 and the Special Meeting of April 5, 1976, was
waived and they were approved as mailed on the motion of Com-
missioner Evans, seconded by Commissioner Ortiz and carried (7-0).

BILLS AND COMMUNICATIONS
Nothing to report.
On motion of Com-
missioner Evans,
seconded by Com-
missioner Bricken, and carried (7-0) the following documents
were received and filed:
REPORT OF DIRECTOR
1.
The Monthly Report for the Section 23 - Leased
Housing (Existing Units), indicating that 80
of the 100 authorized units were under lease
as of April 1, 1976 and that 80 are occupied
by tenants.
2.
March 31, 1976, Trial Balance for the Section
23 Leased Housing Program, indicating a balance
of $606,356.49.
3.
The Monthly Report for the Revised Section 23
Housing Assistance Payment Program (HAP),
indicating that 48 of the 50 units authorized
by HUD were under lease and occupied by tenants
as of April 1, 1976; and that as of April 1,1976
110 certificates have been issued.
4.
March 31, 1976, Trial Balance for Revised Section
23 - Housing Assistance Payments Program (HAP)
indicating a balance of $118,789.46.

The Monthly Report for the Section 8 Program
(Existing Units), indicating a total of 113
units were under lease as of April 1, 1976,
and that the total number of 247 certificates
have been issued as of April 1, 1976.

March 31, 1976, Trial Balance for the Section
8 - Housing Assistance Payments Program (HAP)
indicating a balance of $150,430.29.

Taking note of
Mrs. Gutierre z'
resignation from
her employment with the Housing Authority, Councilman Ward moved
that the Chairman forward a letter of commendation for her services.
The motion was seconded by Commissioner Evans.

mously approved motion of Commissioner Evans, seconded by Com-
