MINUTES
HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA
August 16, 1976
The Regular Meeting of the Housing Authority of the City of
Santa Ana, was called to order at 2:05 P.M., by Chairman Harry
K. Yamamoto, in the Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza,
Santa Ana. The following members of the Authority responded to
the roll call:

MINUTES
The full reading
of the Minutes of
July 19,1976, was
waived and they were approved as mailed, on motion of Commissioner
Ward, seconded by Commissioner Evans, and unanimously carried (5-0).
BILLS AND COMMUNICATIONS
Nothing to report.
REPORT OF DIRECTOR
On motion of Com-
missioner Evans,
seconded by Com-
missioner Ward, and carried (5-0) the following documents were
received and filed:
1.
The Monthly Report for the Section 23 - Leased
Housing (Existing Units), indicating that 70
of the 90 authorized units were under lease as
of August 1, 1976.
July 31, 1976, Trial Balance for the Section 23
Leased Housing Program, indicating a balance
of $542,284.41; and the June 30,1976 - Post
Closing Trial Balance, indicating a balance of
$515,388.18.

The Monthly Report for the Revised Section 23
Program, indicating that 43 units of the 50 units
were under lease as of August 1,1976.

The Monthly Report for the Section 8 Program,
indicating that a total of 127 units of the 150
authorized by HUD were under lease as of August
1, 1976.

Payments Program (HAP), indicating a balance
of $225,054.46; and the June 30, 1976 Section

indicating a balance of $224,511.49.

Commissioner Evans,
seconded by Com-
missioner Brandt
with Commissioner Bricken dissenting, Harry K. Yamamoto was re-
elected Chairman of the Housing Authority and David F. Ortiz was
re-elected Vice Chairman of the Housing Authority.
