HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA
September 19, 1977
The Regular Meeting of the Housing Authority of the City of Santa
Ana was called to order at 4:05 P.M., by Chairman David F. Ortiz,
in the City Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana.

August 15, 1977, was waived and they were approved as mailed, on
the unanimously carried motion 5:0 of Commissioner Bricken,
seconded by Commissioner Ward.

The Monthly report
for the Section 8
Rental Assistance
Payments Program,
dated September 7, 1977, indicating that 317 of the 450 units
authorized by the Department of Housing and Urban Development
(HUD) were under lease as of September 1, 1977, was received
and filed on the unanimously carried 5:0 motion of Commissioner
Ward, seconded by Commissioner Garthe.

missioner Bricken, seconded by Commissioner Yamamoto and carried

by Edward L. Flores,
advising that the Grand
Opening for Santa Ana Towers is scheduled for October 12, 1977, at
10:00 A.M., describing the program and establishing October 17 as
the target date when the senior citizens who are to occupy the Santa
Ana Towers can give their present landlords 30 days notice of lease
. termination, was received and filed on the unanimously approved
.motion 5:0 of Commissioner Ward, seconded by Commissioner Garthe.
