MINUTES
HOUSING AUTHORITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
REGULAR MEETING
APR IL 6, 1981
The regular meeting of the Housing Authority Commission of the City of Santa Ana
was called to order at 2:20 p.m. by Chairman Serrato in the City Council
Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana.
PRESENT:
Chairman Serrato
Vice Chairman Yamamoto
Mayor Ward
Councilmember Bricken
Councilmember Luxembourger
Councilmember Griset
Councilmember Markel
Newly Elected Councilmember McGuigan
Newly El ected Councilmember Acosta
The following staff were present:
A. J. Wilson, City Manager
Daniel Stone, Assistant City Manager
Rex Swanson, Assistant City Manager
Edward J. Cooper, Authority Counsel
Michael L. Uptegraff, Acting Executive Director of Housing Authority
APPROV AL OF MUNUTES:
The Minutes of the March 2, 1981 Housing Authority
Commission Meeting were approved 7:0 on a MOTION by
Yamamoto, Seconded by Bricken.
REPORTS
Monthly Status Report: The Monthly Status Report for the Section 8 Housing
Assistance Program for February, 1981 was Received and Filed on a MOTION by
Yamamoto, Seconded by Markel, and carried 7:0.
OLD BUSINESS
Consent to Assignment, and Waiver of Bond Requirements: After brief discussion,
the Consent to Assignment, and Waiver of Bond Requirements was approved 7:0, on a
MOTION by Bricken, Seconded by Luxembourger.
NEW BUSINESS
Recovery of Funds: On a MOTION by Yamamoto, Seconded by Bricken, and carried
7:0, the Housing Authority Commission authorized the City Attorney's Office to
recover funds from Mr. Tony Ortega.
ADJOURNMENT
The Housing Authority Commission Meeting was adjourned at 2:30 p.m. on a MOTION
by Bricken, Seconded by Luxembourger, and carried unanimously, 7:0. The
Commission will convene for a Special Meeting on April 14, 1981.
