HOUSING AUTHORITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
REGULAR MEETING
AUGUST 6, 1984
The Regular Meeting of the Housing Authority Commission of the City of
Santa Ana was called to order at 5:27 p.m. by Chairman Luxembourger in
the City Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California.
PRESENT

Daniel H. Young
The following staff were present:
Robert C. Bobb, City Manager
Rex Swanson, Deputy City Manager
Edward J. Cooper, Authority Counsel
Phil Freeland, Executive Director
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
The Minutes of the July 2, 1984 Housing Authority
Commission Meeting were approved 7:0 on a MOTION
by Mrs. McGuigan, and seconded by Mr. Acosta.
REPORTS
A.
Monthly Status Report for the Section 8 Housing Assistance Program
for June 1984 - The Monthly Status Report was Received and Filed
on a MOTION by Mrs. McGuigan, seconded by Mr. Johnson, and carried
7:0.
NEW BUSINESS
A.
Application to HOD for 74 Additional Certificates Under the Section
8 Rent Assistance Program
B.
Application to HUD for 200 Additional Certificates Under the Section
8 Rent Assistance Program
Resolutions 84-3 and 84-4 were adopted on a MOTION by Mr. Johnson,
seconded by Mrs. McGuigan, and carried 7:0.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business before the Housing Authority Commission,
the Meeting was adjourned at 5:32 p.m.
