MINUTES
REGULAR MEETING
HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA
NOVEMBER 21, 1994
The Regular Meeting of the Housing Authority of the City of Santa
Ana was called to order at 7:16 p.m. by Chairman Young in the City
Council Chambers 22 civic center Plaza, Santa Ana, California.
Authority Members present were Tom Lutz, Patricia McGuigan, Ted R
Moreno, and Robert L. Richardson. Authority Members Pulido and
Mills were absent. Also present were City Manager David N. Ream,
City Attorney Edward J. Cooper, and Clerk of the Council Janice C.
Guy.

application to the united states Department of Housing
and Urban Development for 10 additional section 8 Housing
Certificates in connection with the Family Unification
Program.

Direct the Housing Authority Attorney to prepare, and
authorize the Executive Director of the community
Development Agency to execute an agreement with Thomas
Welch in an amount not to exceed $30,000 to conduct
Housing Quality standards inspections for the section 8
Rental Assistance Program.

New Consolidated and Extended Annual contributions
Contract for the Section 8 Existing Housing certificate
Program.
MOTION:
Adopt a resolution approving Amended Part I of the
section 8 Existing Housing certificate Program
Consolidated Annual contributions Contract number SF-503
(E), and authorize the Chairman and the Executive
Director of the Housing Authority to execute required
documents on behalf of the Authority.

Suspension of Application Intake - Closing the Housing
Authority Applicant wait List.

Authorize the Executive Director to take necessary action
to suspend application intake and close the applicant
wait list for the section 8 Existing certificate and
