Recommendation: Approve Minutes of Special Meeting
held on November 20, 1978.

OLD BUSINESS
A.
CONTINUATION OF JONES DEVELOPMENT - EXCLUSIVE RIGHT TO
NEGOTIATE
Recommendation: Authorize six month exclusive right
to negotiate between the Agency and Allen E. Jones,
developer.
Commission Recommendation: Recommended to the Rede-
velopment Agency that the Allen E. Jones proposal be
considered and that Mr. Jones be given a six month
exclusive right to negotiate for development of that
property bounded by Garnsey, Flower and civic Center
Drive (approximately 175 feet deep), and that at the
same time, special consideration be given to insuring
that any adverse affects on Garnsey Street be miti-
gated so as to allow for appropriate north/south
traffic flow.
B.
CONTINUATION OF APPROVAL OF CONCEPT OF MOHLER DEVELOPMENT
Recommendation: Approve preliminary development plan
and proposed budget, subject to final determination
of the Environmental Impact Report and zoning require-
ments.

CONTINUATION OF ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY AT THE SOUTHWEST
CORNER OF EIGHTH AND BUSH STREETS (AP 009-011-05) FOR
SOMBRERO STREET RESTAURANT PARKING
Recommendation: Authorize Staff to acquire property
and negotiate lease and purchase option agreement
with Sombrero Street Restaurant.
Commission Recommendation: Acquire the property and
thereafter present details of lease and option to buy
agreement with the Sombrero Street Restaurant to the
Commission for recommendation.

Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana, California
has called a Special Meeting of the Community Redevelopment Agency
to be held in the Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa
Ana, California, at the hour of 2:00 P.M., on Monday, December 4,
