AUTHORIZATION FOR EXECUTION OF GRANT DEED AND DECLARA-
TION OF RESTRICTIONS FOR SANTA ANA INTOWN HOUSING
Recommendation: Authorize Chairman to execute
Grant Deed and Declaration of Restrictions with
Santa Ana Intown Apartments for sub-parcel one of
Phase II pursuant to Contract for Sale of Land for
Private Redevelopment dated May 2, 1977 between the
Agency, the Housing Authority and Santa Ana Intown
Apartments.
Commission Recommendation:

AGREEMENT WITH JACOBS, WEISER, KANE, BALLMER & BERKMAN
Recommendation: Authorize Executive Director to
execute agreement with Jacobs, Weiser, Kane, Ballmer
& Berkman for legal services.

RESOLUTIONS
A.
AUTHORIZE THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO ACQUIRE PROPERTY
LOCATED IN THE AMERICAN NATIONAL PROPERTIES DEVELOPMENT
SITE PURSUANT TO ATTACHED LETTER AGREEMENT
Recommendation: Adopt Resolution 78-34: A RESOLU-
TION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN OF THE
AGENCY TO EXECUTE AGREEMENTS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF
REAL PROPERTIES IN THE REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA.
Commission Recommendation: To be considered November
14, 1978. will be presented orally at the meeting.

OLD BUSINESS
A.
CONTINUATION OF JONES DEVELOPMENT - EXCLUSIVE RIGHT TO
NEGOTIATE
Recommendation: Authorize six month exclusive
right to negotiate between the Agency and Allen
Jones, developer.
Commission Recommendation: Recommended to the
Redevelopment Agency that the Allen E. Jones pro-
posal be considered and that Mr. Jones be given a
six month exclusive right to negotiate for devel-
opment of that property bounded by Garnsey, Flower
and Civic Center Drive (approximately 175 feet
deep), and that at the same time, special con-
sideration be given to insuring that any adverse
affects on Garnsey Street be mitigated so as to
allow for appropriate north/south traffic flow.
B.
CONTINUATION OF APPROVAL OF CONCEPT OF MOHLER DEVELOPMENT
Recommendation: Approve preliminary development
plan and proposed budget, subject to final deter-
mination of the Environmental Impact Report and
zoning requirements.

FOURTH STREET REALIGNMENT AND SASSCER PARK
Recommendation: Authorize preliminary drawings for
the realignment of Fourth Street and Sasscer Park.
Commission Recommendation: That the Public Works
Department proceed with the plans on the realign-
ment of Fourth Street in connection with Redevel-
opment, and report back to the Commission when they
are further along with their plans so the Commission
can see how they have progressed.
E.
ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF EIGHTH
AND BUSH STREETS (AP No. 009-011-05) FOR SOMBRERO STREET
RESTAURANT PARKING
Recommendation: Authorize Staff to acquire property
and negotiate lease and purchase option agreement
with Sombrero Street Restaurant.
Commission Recommendation: Acquire the property
and thereafter present details of lease and option
to buy agreement with the Sombrero Street Restau-
rant to the Commission for recommendation.

A.
ORAL REPORT ON WALTER SCOTT PROPOSAL FOR DEVELOPMENT OF
OLD MULTI MODAL TRANSPORTATION TERMINAL SITE
Recommendation:
For informational purposes only.
Commission Recommendation: Commission will act on
this item on November 14, 1978. An oral report
will be made regarding their action.
