OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA
March 2, 1978
The meeting was called to order in Room 831, City Hall, 20 Civic
Center Plaza, at 5:07 P.M. by Mayor Vernon S. Evans, proper
notice and posting having been effected, with affidavits on file
in the office of the Clerk of the Council. Council members pre-
sent were Gordon Bricken, David F. Ortiz, David L. Brandt, James
E. Ward and Mayor Evans. Councilman Garthe arrived at 5:12 P.M.
during the Executive Session. Councilman Harry K. Yamamoto was
absent. Staff members present included City Manager Bruce C.
Spragg, City Attorney Keith L. Gow, and Clerk of the Council
Florence I. Malone. A member of the press arrived during the
Executive Session recess.
RECESS Following the Pledge of
EXECUTIVE SESSION Allegiance to the Flag,
and Invocation, Council
recessed at 5:08 P.M.
for an executive session to consider personnel matters; Council
reconvened at 6:15 P.M. with all members present except Council-
man Yamamoto.
ADJOURNMENT
Councilman Garthe,
Council adjourned.
At 6:15 P.M., on the
unanimously approved 6:0
motion of Councilman
Brandt, seconded by
