HomeMy WebLinkAbout03-15-1978MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA March 15, 1978 The meeting was called to order by Mayor Vernon S. Evans at 5:02 P.M. in the City Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza. Council members present were Harry K. Yamamoto, John Garthe, David L. Brandt, Gordon Bricken, James E. Ward and Mayor Evans. Councilman David F. Ortiz was absent. The following members of Staff were also present: City Manager Bruce C. Spragg, City Attorney Keith L. Gow, Community Redevelopment Director Richard C. Goblirsch, and Assistant Clerk of the Council Patricia E. Rice. INVOCATION PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Following the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag, the Invocation was given by Councilman Brandt. SOUTH COAST TOWN CENTER DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT RESCINDED ACTION TO DIRECT CITY ATTORNEY TO FILE ACTION TO CHALLENGE EIR AS INSUFFICIENT City Attorney to file Impact Report for the City of Costa Mesa as On the motion of Council- man Brandt, seconded by Councilman Garthe, carried 6:0 unanimously, Council action taken at its March '13, 1978 meeting directing the legal action to challenge the Environmental South Coast Town Center Development in the insufficient, was rescinded.
