CITY COUNCIL ACTION
Motion:
Direct the City Attorney to pre pore. and authorize the Mayor and Clerk of
the Council to execute, a Grant Deed conveying the abandoned portion of
Arnett Drive and additional City property north of Arnett Drive to the
Redevelopment Agency, identified as development parcel 6, along with an
easement for the construction of a vehicular/pedestrian bridge over
Santiago Creek connecting development parcels 3 and 4.

Adopt a resolution making certain findings with respect to the
consideration to be received by the Community Redevelopment Agency
pursuant to a Disposition and Development Agreement between the
Agency and Discovery Museum of Orange County for the sale of certain
real property in the Central City Redevelopment Project Area and
approving the sale of said real property upon the terms and conditions
contained in the agreement.

Adopt a Resolution:

Resolution 97-5 - A Resolution authorizing an agreement for the
acquisition of real property and escrow instructions acquiring the real
property identified as Director's Deeds Nos. 073158-01-01, 073155-01-
01, and 073153-01-01 from Caltransfor an amount not to exceed
$I,50~,OOO plus closing costs, and finding that the property will be used to
benefit the public.

Accept the real property formerly identified as a portion of Arnett Drive
and additional City property north of Arnett Drive from the City,
identified as development porcel 6, along with an easement for the
construction of a vehicular/pedestrian bridge over Santiago Creek
connecting development parcels 3 and 4.

Adopt a Resolution:
Resolution No. 97-6 - A resolution approving a Disposition and
Development agreement with Discovery Museum of Orange County for
development of the Discovery Science Center project.
