CONTRACT A WARD FOR ELECTRICAL WORK, INCREASE IN PROJECT
BUDGET, AND AMENDMENT TO ARCHITECTURAL AGREEMENT FOR
THE GRAND CENTRAL ART CENTER
CITY COUNCIL ACTION
Motion:
i,
Award a contract to Westside Electric, Inc., the lowest responsible bidder,
in the amount of $59,700 for electrical work for tenant improvements in
the Grand Centra1 Art Center.
2,
Approve an amendment increasing the Grand Central Art Center project
budget by $279,000 to Cover unanticipated contingencies.
3.
Approve an appropriation a4Justment recognizing $i04,500 in
unanticipated Urban Development Action Grant loan repayment revenue
and allocating same to the UDA G Grand Central Building project,

Public Works Administrative and General Fund revenue and loaning same
to the Central City Redevelopment Project Area Grand Central Building
project.

Direct the Agency Attorney to prepare, and authorize the Chairman and the
Executive Director to execute an amendment to the agreement with Robbins
Jorgensen Christopher for architectural and engineering services to renovate the
Grand Central Building in the amount of$35,000,
