RESOLUTION NO. 84-10
A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA CERTIFYING
THE FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FOR
THE FASHION SQUARE COMMERCIAL CENTER PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Agency of the
City of Santa Ana (the "Agency") is considering approval of a
Participation Agreement with Santa Ana'Venture for the re-
development of the Fashion Square Commercial Center (the
"Project"); and
WHEREAS, the Agency as "lead agencyn for the Project,
has previously caused to be prepared a Draft Environmental
Impact Report for the Project, and has submitted said Draft
Environmental Impact Report for review and comment by all
public agencies having jurisdiction by law and by the general
public, including the holding of a public hearing thereon on
April 19, 1983; and
WHEREAS, all comments received by the Agency during
such review have been collected and the Agency has caused
responses to su~ comments to be prepared, and has caused a
Final Environmental Impact Report to be prepared, consisting
of the Draft Environmental Impact Report together with a
supplement entitled Volume II, including the comments and
responses; and
WHEREAS, the said Final Environmental Impact Report
has been forwarded to the members of the governing board of the
Agency for their review and consideration; and
WHEREAS, all of the foregoing has been undertaken in
accordance with the provisions of the California Environmental
Quality Act, the State CEQA Guidelines, and the local environ-
mental rules of the Agency;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMUNITY
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AS FOLLOWS:

I. The Agency hereby certifies that the Final Environ-
mental Impact Report for the Fashion Square Commercial Center
Project has been completed in compliance with the California
Environmental Quality Act.
2. The Agency hereby certifies that the Final Environ-
mental Impact Report was presented to the decision-making body
of the Agency and the decision-making body of the Agency
reviewed and considered the information contained in the Final
Environmental Impact Report prior to taking any action to
approve the Project.
