RESOLUTION NO. 92-4 A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING, AS TO FORM, THE PRELIMINARY REPORT, AND AUTHORIZING TRANSMITTAL OF THE PRELIMINARY REPORT AND THE DRAFT REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE PROPOSED MERGER AND AMENDMENT TO THE SOUTH MAIN STREET AND INTER-CITY REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREAS TO ALL AFFECTED TAXING AGENCIES. WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana (the "Agency") and the Community Redevelopment Commission of the City of Santa Ana (the "Commission") have undertaken proceedings to merge and amend the Redevelopment Plans for the South Main Street and Inter-City Redevelopment Project Areas ("Project Area") in the city of Santa Ana to extend the indebtedness time limits, to modify the financial limits in the Redevelopment Plans, to minimize administrative costs, to extend the time frame for the use of eminent domain in some areas, and to review the projects still to be implemented in order to complete redevelopment of the project areas; and WHEREAS, the Commission intends to consider adopting a merger and amendment to the Redevelopment Plans and undertake certain projects in the Project Area, pursuant to Part 1 of Division 24 of the Health and Safety Code (commencing with Section 33000); and WHEREAS, the Commission has authorized the preparation of a Preliminary Report, a copy of which is on file with the Secretary of the Redevelopment Commission, prepared pursuant to Section 33344.5 of the Health and Safety Code; and WHEREAS, a draft of the Redevelopment Plan for the merger and amendment ("Amended Redevelopment Plan") has been prepared, THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: 1. The Preliminary Report conforms to the requirement of the California Communi ty Redevelopment Law. 2. The Executive Director is hereby authorized and directed to distribute the Preliminary Report to each taxing agency and other affected agencies within the Project Area pursuant to the California Community Redevelopment Law. 3. The Executive Director is hereby authorized and directed to distribute the Draft Amended Redevelopment Plan to all affected taxing agencies and interested parties within the Project Area for their review and comment. q 4A . . . 4A ADOPTED this 17th day of AYES: Commissioners NOES: Commissioners ABSENT: Commissioners ABSTENTIONS: Commissioners ATTEST: ~~.
