MINUTES
SPECIAL MEETING
COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA
APRIL 10, 1979
The Special Meeting of the Community Redevelopment Agency of the
City of Santa Ana was called to order by Vice Chairman James Ward
at 7:45 P.M. in the City Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza,
Santa Ana, California. New Councilmen/Agency members were sworn in
at the Council meeting held before the Agency meeting. The new
members are: J. Ogden Markel, Alfred Serrato, Robert Luxembourger,
and Daniel Griset. After the pledge to the Flag, roll was called:

B. J. Thompson, City Manager
ELECTION OF OFFICERS
Nominations were opened for Chairman of the Redevelopment Agency.
Mr. Bricken nominated Mr. Ward. Mr. Luxembourger seconded the
nomination. A motion was made by Mr. Bricken, seconded by Mr.
Griset and carried unanimously to close nominations. A vote was
taken and by unanimous action, Mr. Ward was elected Chairman of the
Redevelopment Agency.
Nominations were opened for Vice Chairman of the Redevelopment
Agency. Mr. Bricken nominated Mr. Griset. Mr. Ward seconded the
nomination. A motion was made by Mr. Bricken, seconded by Mr. Ward
and carried unanimously to close nominations. A vote was taken
(Mr. Markel stated that he declined to vote) and Mr. Griset was
elected Vice Chairman of the Redevelopment Agency.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business before the Community Redevelopment
Agency, the meeting was adjourned at 7:50 P.M.
