MINUTES
REGULAR MEETING
COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA
MAY 18, 1982
The Regular Meeting of the Community Redevelopment Agency of
the City of Santa Ana was called to order by Chairman Gordon
Bricken at 5:42 P.M., in Room 147, City Council Chambers, 22
Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California. The following
were present:

WORK STUDY SESSION - PRESENTATION ON NEW PROJECT AREAS
Mr. Wilson reminded the Agency members that the public
hearings to consider adoption of the new project areas would
be held in June.
Mr. Freeland gave a brief presentation on the General Plan
for the City of Santa Ana and how it related to an overall
Economic Development strategy.
Mr. Swanson gave a brief presentation with charts showing
the tax increments for each project area.

A motion was made by Mr. Griset, seconded by Mrs. McGuigan
and carried unanimously to approve the Minutes of the
Regular Meeting held on April 20,1982, and the Special
Meeting held on May 3,1982.
AMENDMENT TO LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE AGENCY AND LLOYDS
BANK CALIFORNIA
In response to a question raised by Mr. Luxembourger, Mr.
Ream responded that the Agency would be responsible for any
increases in insurance premiums paid by Lloyds Bank.

LETTER OF DISCLOSURE FROM COMMISSION MEMBER JESSEE
A motion was made by Mr. Griset, seconded by Mrs. McGuigan
and carried unanimously to receive and file letter dated
April 15, 1982 from Commission member Ted Jessee disclosing
interest in real property located at 1005-1021 South Main
Street, Santa Ana,' California in the proposed "South Main
Street Redevelopment Project Area".
DEVELOPMENT PROPOSALS ON B-2 AND A-3 SITES
After a brief discussion, a motion was made by Mr. Griset,
seconded by Mrs. McGuigan and carried unanimously to extend
the Request for Proposal periods for the B-2 and A-3 sites
until July 31,1982.

There being no further business before the Community
Redevelopment Agency, the meeting was adjourned at 6:47 P.M.
