Council members present were Gordon Bricken, Daniel E. Griset, R. W. Loxembourger, J. Ogden ~4arkel, and Harry K. Yamamoto. Councilman Alfred C. Serrato and Mayor James E. Ward were absent. Also present were staff members City Manager B. J. Thompson, City Attorney Keith L. Gow, and Clerk of the Council Janice C. Guy. Co~mcil's boards/ commissions absence policy was reaffirmed. Consequently Alan Curtis' termination of service on the Planning Co~nission was reconfirmed.. The following nomination was accepted and set for consideration of appointment on December 3, 1979, by unanimous informal consent: Nomination by Markel of Robert Carrillo for Ward 6 representative to the Planning Commis- sion for a partial term ending June 30, 1982 (replacing Alan Curtis). Mayor Ward complimented the City Services Task Force Conmittee on its services to the City. Staff was urged to work closely with the City Services Task Force. Following discussion, MOTION was made by Luxembourger, seconded by Markel, to terminate the City Services Task Force Committee on July 1, 1980, with further consideration to be given by Council prior to that time.
