MINUTES REGULAR MEETING COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY NOVEMBER 20, 1990 The Regular Meeting of the Co_unity Redevelopment Agency was called to order at 5:35 p.m. by Chairman Young in the Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given, and the following Agency Members were in attendance: mmfi ~ John Acosta, Vice Chairman Dan Griset Patricia McGuigan Rick Norton Miguel Pulido Daniel H. Young, Chairman Ron May Others in Attendance: David N. Ream, City Manager Edward Cooper, City Attorney Debra Kurita, Assistant City Manager ~ It was moved by Agency Member McGuigan, seconded by Agency Member Pulido and carried unanimously (6:0) that the Redevelopment Agency approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Community Redevelopment Agency held October 16, 1990. 1985 AND 1989 SERIES A-D TAX ALLOCATION BONDS It was moved by Agency Member McGuigan, seconded by Agency Member Acosta and carried unanimously (6:0) that the Redevelopment Agency adopt Resolution No. 90-09 - A Resolution of the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana approving amendments to Indentures of Trust relating to 1989 Tax Allocation Refunding Bonds, and authorizing matters relating to remarketing and refunding of 1985 Tax Allocation Bonds. APPROVAL TO PREOUALIFY BIDDERS AND SOLICIT BIDS TO FURNISH AND INSTALL A COMPACT STORAGE SYSTEM FOR THE BOWERS MUSEUM It was moved by Agency Member Acosta, seconded by Agency Member Pulido and carried unanimously (6:0) that the Redevelopment Agency authorize the prequalification of bidders and solicitation of bids to furnish and install a compact storage system for the expansion of the Bowers Museum. . . . APPROVAL TO PREOUALIFY BIDDERS AND SOLICIT BIDS TO FURNISH AND INSTALL A SECURITY SYSTEM FOR THE BOWERS MUSEUM It was moved by Agency Member Acosta, seconded by Agency Member Pulido and carried unanimously (6:0) that the Redevelopment Agency authorize the prequalification of bidders and solicitation of bids to furnish and install a security system for the expansion of the Bowers Museum. BOWERS MUSEUM EXPANSION - DELEGATION OF AUTHORITY TO REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION TO IMPLEMENT THE PROJECT BUDGET It was moved by Agency Member Acosta, seconded by Agency Member Pulido and carried unanimously (6:0) that the Redevelopment Agency delegate the authority of the Redevelopment Agency to the Redevelopment Commission to implement the Bowers Museum Expansion Program Budget. As a condition of this motion, Agency Member Acosta asked staff to provide the Redevelopment Agency members, on a monthly basis, information detailing the expenditures on the Bowers Museum Project. AGENCY SECRETARY REPORT It was moved by Agency Member McGuigan, seconded by Agency Member Acosta and carried unanimously (6:0) that the Redevelopment Agency instruct the Agency Secretary to enter into the Minutes: Pursuant to Government Code Section 54954.2, the Agenda for the October 16, 1990 Regular Meeting of the Community Redevelopment Agency was posted on the door of the Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, at 10 a.m. on October 12, 1990. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to come before the Redevelopment Agency, the meeting was adjourned at 5:45 p.m. .~ Director/ -2-
