The September 19, 1994 Asenda for the Adjourned Regular Heeting of the Community Redevelopment Asency was posted on the door of the Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, at 10 a.m. on September 15, 1994. . The Notice of Adjournment of the September 20, 1994 Heeting of the Coll/lllUl1ity Redevelopment Agency was posted on the door of the Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, at 5:32 p.m. on September 20,1994. MOTION: McGuigan SECOND: Mills VOTES: AYES: Lutz, McGuigan, Mills, Moreno, Pulido, Richardson, Young NOES: None REOUESTS FOR REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY ACTION PUBLIC IIRARING -- ACOUISITION AND LEASE OF 801C NORTH BROADWAY - TA11 Jl'.R SAN JOSE The public hearing opened at 8:36 p.m. Executive Director/Community Development Agency Cynthia Nelson provided the staff report. No written comments were received--Sister Eileen Kc Nerney and Dominic Walsh spoke in favor of this action. The public hearing closed at 8:41 p.m. lf2.t1œ&. 1. Direct the Agency Attorney to prepare, and authorize the Chairman and the Executive Director to execute, an Agreement for the acquisition of B01C North Broadway from the County of Orange. . 2. Adopt Resolution 94-6 - A resolution of the Coll/lllUl1ity Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana approving the lease of property located at B01C North Broadway to Taller San Jose. MOTION: Lutz SECOND: McGuigan VOTES: AYES: Lutz, McGuigan, Mills, Moreno, Pulido, Richardson, Young NOES: None Chairman Young requested that staff work with Taller San Jose on specific operation guidelines to ensure that activities are conducted indoors and the participants do not congregate outside of the facility. . WILLIAM BUSTER The public hearing opened at 8:46 p.m. Executive Director/Community Development Agency Cynthia Nelson provided the staff report. There were no written comments received in favor of or opposed to this action. The public hearing closed at 8:48 p.m. ~ 1. Direct the Agency Attorney to prepare, and authorize the Chairman and the Executive Director to execute, an Agreement for the acquisition of 2040 and 2043 North Broadway from the County of Orange. 2. Adopt Resolution 94-7 - A resolution of the Co/JJlIlUnity Rede- velopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana approving the sale of property located at 2040 and 2043 North Broadway to Dr. William Buster, H.D., Inc. MOTION: Richardson SECOND: Lutz VOTES: AYES: Lutz, McGuigan, Mills, Moreno, Pulido, Richardson, Young NOES: None Chairman Young suggested that staff work with Dr. Buster to resolve offsite parking issues. Planning & Building Agency Executive Director Robyn Uptegraff indicated that a minor variance would be required, but would have staff support. Fll.ENCH PAlUI: MODEL BLOCK: PROJECT ~ Approve implementation of the Hodel Block Project for the French Park Neighborhood, and authorize the Executive Director of the Co/JJlIlUnity Development Agency to execute, contracts in an amount not to exceed $75,000 to pay the cost of exterior painting, supplies and services to execute the project.
