Community Redevelopment Agency Action: Motion: 1. Adopt a resolution. RESOLUTION NO. 98-7: A resolution approving an Implementation Agreement between the Redevelopment Agency and Discovery Museum of Orange County and to approve a corporate sponsor name on the proposed signage. . . . 2. Direct the Agency Attorney to prepare, and authorize the Chairman and the Executive Director to execute, a Reimbursement Agreement with Discovery Museum of Orange County for construction of a security fence along the bicycle trail adjacent to the Discovery Science Center project, in an amount not to exceed $50,000. HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION Mayor Pulido announced the City Attorney's staff was in the process of preparing amendments to the enabling ordinance and that action should be deferred to later in the meeting. ABANDONMENTS 98-02 THROUGH 98-05 - GLOBAL METAL RECYCLING SITE - MINNIE/CHESTNUT/PINE AREA (Set for public hearing on June 15, 1998 by a 4/0 vote with Espinoza and Moreno not voting) Motion: Continue public hearing regarding Abandonments 98-02 through 98-05 to August 3. 1998. Guy: None Walkie Ray spoke in favor of the Amendment Application 98-03 and requested the Council additionally approve a "reader board" as a component of the 544 sq. ft. sign approved by the Planning Commission and advertisement ofthe Science Center's food.court on the project's Main Street monument sign. Tim Rush and Ricki Older spoke in favor of the Amendment Application and a reader board, but opposed the advertisement of the food court. The Mayor closed the public hearing at 7:00 p.m. .
