OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA
July 26, 1980
The City Council convened at 8:30 a.m. in the Mayor's Office, Room 813,
20 Civic Center Plaza, with the following Councilmembers present: Mayor
James E. Ward, Vice Ma~vor Gordon Bricken, Councilmembers Daniel E. Griset,
Robert W. Luxembourger, J. Ogden Markel, Alfred C. Serrato, and Harry K.
Yamamoto. Also in attendance were Judge Edward Wallin and City Manager/
Acting Clerk of the Council A. J. Wilson. The Council immediately
recessed to executive session for the purpose of interviewing candidates
for the position of City Attorney.
Upon completion of interviews at 2:00 p.m., the meeting was moved to the
Santa Ana Room of the Saddleback Inn, 1660 East First Street, to allow
the members of the Council, Judge Wallin and Mr. Wilson to have lunch as
they continued deliberations on the selection of a City Attorney candidate.
The meeting was adjourned by unanimous informal consent at 3:30 p.m.
