A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING A
MODIFICATION OF THAT CERTAIN AGREEMENT WITH
KENNARD, DELAHOUSIE AND GAULT, ARCHITECTURE
AND PLANNING, DATED APRIL 1, 1974, TO PROVIDE
ADDITIONAL PLANNING SERVICES FOR THE COMMUNITY
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Agency and Kennard,
Delahousie and Gault, Architecture and Planning, entered into
an agreement April 1,1974, for architectural and planning ser-
vices; and
WHEREAS, additional architecture and planning services
will be required by the Community Redevelopment Agency for the
proposed expansion of the Community Redevelopment Project Area;
and
WHEREAS, the Agency desires to continue retaining the
services of Kennard, Delahousie and Gault to prepare additional
planning studies for the Redevelopmént Project within the bounda-
ries of the Redevelopment Project Area; and
WHEREAS, Kennard, Delahousie and Gault represent that
they are authorized and qualified to provide suœh services for
the Agency.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Community
Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana hereby approves
the modified agreement for planning studies and services with
Kennard, Delahousie and Gault, Architecture and Planning, which
agreement is attached hereto and referred to as Exhibit "A", and
authorizes the Chairman of the Agency to execute said Agreement
on behalf of the Agency.

AGENCY of the City of Santa Ana, a public body, corporate
and politic, (hereinafter referred to as the "Agency"), and
KENNARD, DELAHOUSIE AND GAULT, ARCHITECTURE AND PLANNING, a
California general partnership, whose address is 5605 West
Washington Boulevard, Los Angeles, California, 90016 (herein-
after referred to as the "Contractor").
WHEREAS, Agency and Contractor entered into an agreement
on April 1,1974, and additional services will be required by
Agency; and
WHEREAS, the Agency desires to continue retaining the
services of the Contractor to prepare additional planning
studies for the Redevelopment Project within the boundaries
of the Project Area; and
WHEREAS, the Contractor represents that~e is authorized
and qualifi~d to provide such services,. for .the Agency; and
~EREAS, Contractor promises to prepare an Illustrative
Plan for the downtown core and advise the Agency on new Redevelop-
ment boundaries.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED BETWEEN THE
PARTIES AS FOLLOWS:

modified as follows:
A.
By adding thereto a section following §100 to be
numbered §101 and to read as follows:
§lOl.
Contractor shall prepare an Illustrative
Plan for the downtown core including:
1) Transit terminal site.

2) Oldtown development and cultural center.
3)
Refined commercial office core.
B.
By adding thereto a section following §101 to
be numbered §102 and to read as follows:
§102.
Contractor shall advise the Agency on
new redevelopment boundaries and prepare maps de-
lineating amended boundaries.
C.
By adding thereto a section following §603 and to
be numbered §604 to read as follows:
§604.
The total compensation for all services
performed in accordance with §101 and benefits provi-
ded thereto shall be the lump sum not to exceed One
Thousand Three Hundred ($1,300.00) Dollars.
D.
By adding thereto a section following §604 to
be numbered §605 and to read as follows:
§605.
The total compensation for all services
performed in accordance with §102 and benefits
provided thereto shall be the lump sum not to exceed
Two Thousand Six Hundred ($2,600.00) Dollars.

Except as herein provided all provisions of that
certain agreement dated
April 1,1974
and hereinbefore
referred to shall remain in full force and effect.
Where
there is a conflict between the moqified agreement 'and the
