HomeMy WebLinkAbout11-03-1980 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA November 3, 1980 The meeting was called to order at 2:04 p.m. by Mayor Ward in the City Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza. Council members present were Gordon Bricken, Daniel E. Griset, J. Ogden Markel, Alfred C. Serrato, Harry K. Yamamoto, and Mayor James E. Ward. Councilman Robert W. Luxem- bourger was absent. City Manager A. J. Wilson, City Attorney Edward J. Cooper, and Clerk of the Council Janice C. Guy were also present. INVOCATION PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Following the Pledge of Alle- giance to the Flag, the Invocation was given by Councilman Griset. RECESS - HOUSING AUTHORITY At 2:06 p.m Council recessed COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY to convene a special meeting RECONVENED of the Community Redevelopment Agency. Council reconvened at 2:07 p.m. and immediately recessed to the regular meeting of the Housing Authority. At 2:09 p.m. Council reconvened with Councilman Luxembourger absent. CONSENT CALENDAR Items 3E, 48, 5A, 12C, 12D, 13A, 14, ITEMS REMOVED 17H, 17K, and 19 were removed DISSENTING VOTE from the Consent Calendar by Markel; Items 8F, 168, and 16I by Ward; Items 4A, 178, and 188 by Bricken; Items 5F, 16D by Serrato; and Item 17I by a member of the public.
