A REOOIDrION OF THE CXH1!JNITY REDEVELOPMENl' AGENCY
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA REQUESTING THE ~
C£M.IISSIOO OF THE CITY OF SANl'A ANA 'ro SELECT AN
EXPANDED BOUNDARY FOR THE CITY OF SANTA ANA REDE.VEWP-
PROJECT AREA AND 'ro :FOlMJIATE , APPOOVE AND AOOPI' AN
AMENDED PREL:IMINARY PUIN FORMULATED FOR THE REDE.VEWP-
MEN!' OF THE PROJECT AREA AS EXPANDED
WHEREI\S, Section 33322 of the Ccmnunity Redevelq:ment Law,
Division 24 of the Health and Safety Code of the State of California pr0-
vides that the Planning Camlission may select one or IICre 'Project Areas
oc:uprised of all or part of any survey area, at the request of the Cœmun-
ity Redevelq:ment Agency; and
WHEREI\S, on December 23, 1974, the Planning Camlission adcpted
Resolution 6062 designating an anerdænt to the Redevelq:ment Survey Area
for study pmposes; and
WHEREI\S, it is the desire of the Ccmnuni ty Redevelopœnt Agency
to request the Planning Camlission of the City of Santa Ana to select an
expanded boundary for the City of Santa Ana Redeveloprent Project Area;
NCW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
L That the Ccmnunity Redevelo¡;:rœnt Agency hereby requests the
Planning Camlission of the City of Santa Ana to select an expanded boundary
for the City of Santa Ana Redevelq:ment Project Area fran within the newly
amended City of Santa Ana Redevelq:ment Smvey area and to establish, as
the expanded boundaries therefor, the area shown on the expanded Project
Area Map attached hereto and labeled Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by
this reference.
2. The Ccmnunity Redevelopœnt Agency further requests the Plan-
ning Camlission to fornulate, approve and adopt an amended Prel:iminazy Plan
fomulated for the project area as e.cpanded.
3. The Ccmnunity Redevelq:ment Agency further requests that the
Planning Director of the City of Santa Ana transmit the expanded Project
Area Map and the amended Preliminary Plan upon adoption by the Planning Can-
mission to the Camunity Redeve1opnent Agency and to the Camu..mity Redevelop-
rænt Camlission of the City of Santa Ana.
