RESOLUTION NO. 82-14
A RESOLUTION OF THE SANTA ANA COMMUNITY
REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION RECEIVING AND
AUTHORIZING CIRCULATION OF DRAFT
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FOR THE
SANTA ANA SOUTH MAIN STREET REDEVELOP-
MENT PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION
OF NOTICE OF COMPLETION AND AVAILABILITY
OF DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT
WHEREAS, the Santa Ana Community Redevelopment
Commission has prepared a Draft Environmental Impact Report
for the Santa Ana South Main Street Redevelopment Project in
accordance with the provisions of the California
Environmental Quality Act, the State EIR Guidelines, and the
local guidelines and procedures adopted pursuant thereto;
and
WHEREAS, following published notice and Notices of
Preparation to responsible public agencies, a community
meeting was held on October 30,1981, for the purpose of
determining the scope of actions, alternatives, mitigation
measures and significant impacts to be analyzed in the
preparation of the Draft EIR.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Santa Ana
Community Redevelopment Commission as follows:
The Draft EIR for the Santa Ana South Main Street
Redevelopment Project is hereby found by this Commission to
be sufficient to permit adequate evaluation and review of
the environmental impact of the proposed Project.
The Draft ErR, is hereby received by this
Commission as the Commission's Draft ErR for said Project
for purposes of circulation for review and comment by public
agencies and members of the public.
The Executive Director of the Community
Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana is hereby
authorized and directed to:
a) File a Notice of Completion with the
Secretary of State Resources Agency in accordance with the
State EIR Guidelines;

b) Provide for the distribution of the Draft EIR
for comment from and consultation with public agencies
having jurisdiction by law with respect to the Project; and
c) Publish notice once in the Orange County
Register advising the public of the completion and
availability of copies of the Draft EIR for review and
comment by the public. Copies of the Draft EIR shall be
maintained for public inspection during the comment period
at the Executive Director's office and in the City Library.
