RESOLUTION NO. 80-38
A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING
THE CHAIRMAN OF THE AGENCY TO EXECUTE A
GRANT DEED TO ORANGE COUNTY TRANSIT DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana and Orange County
Transit District entered into that certain agreement dated
May 24,1977, as amended by Amendment No.1, dated November
7,1977, and Amendment No.2, dated November 5,1979,
hereinafter referred to as "said agreement as amended, n to
provide for the construction and operation of a park-and-
Ride facility adjacent to the Santa Ana Transit Terminal in
the City of Santa Ana; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Article 7 of said agreement
as amended, the City of Santa Ana assigned all its rights,
powers and interest in said agreement as amended to the
Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana; and
WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Agency of the
City of Santa Ana, acting pursuant to said assignment, has
acquired title to certain real prpperty as described in said
agreement as amended and now desires to convey title to said
real property to Orange County Transit District in partial
performance of said agreement as amended.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Community
Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana as follows:
That the chairman and executive director of said
Agency are hereby authorized to execute and deliver, on
behalf of the Agency, a grant deed in favor of the Orange
County Transit District to the real property described in
said agreement as amended, a copy of which grant deed is
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
