RESOLUTION NO. 81-79
A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING
THE CHAIRMAN TO EXECUTE A COMMERCIAL REHA-
BILITATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE AGENCY AND
ROBERT FAINBARG
FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT
201 W. FIRST
AND PROVIDING FOR THE EXEMPTION OF SAID
PROPERTY FROM ACQUISITION BY THE AGENCY BY
EMINENT DOMAIN UPON CERTAIN CONDITIONS
BE IT RESOLVED by the Community Redevelopment
Agency of the City of Santa Ana as follows:
1. The Chairman of the Agency is hereby
authorized to execute on behalf of the Agency that certain
agreement entitled "Commercial Rehabilitation Participation
Agreement, (201 W. First),.
form dated 3/25/81, between the Agency and
Robert Fainbarg,
copies of which are on file in the office of the Executive
Director of the Agency and to which reference is hereby made
for full particulars, which Agreement pertains to property
(hereinafter referred to as the .subject property.)
specifically described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference.
2. The Executive Director is hereby authorized
to take all steps, and to sign all documents and instruments
necessary to implement and carry out this Agreement on
behalf of the Agency.

3. Upon issuance of a Certificate of Completion
pursuant to the abovesaid Agreement, the Executive Director
of the Agency shall cause this Resolution to be recorded in
the Official Records of Orange County. From and after the
date of such recordation, the subject property shall be
exempt from acquisition by the Agency by eminent domain in
accordance with section 33399(g) of the Community
Redevelopment Law, subject to the condition that, in the
event of the substantial destruction of the building
rehabilitated pursuant to the above said Agreement, said
exemption shall terminate.

EXHIBIT A
PARCEL 1: A portion of Block Four of Town of Santa Ana, as shown on
a map recorded in Book 2, Page 51 of Miscellaneous Records of Los
Angeles County, California, being a portion of the land described in the
deed to Charles W. Harrison and wife, recorded February 19,1945 in
Book 1300, Page 291 of Official Records, and more particularly described
. as follows:
Beginning at a point in the East line of said Block Four, 50.61 feet
North of the Southeast corner of said Block, said point being in the
center of an 8-3/4 inches brick wall; running thence West parallel with
the South line of said Block Four, and along the center line of said
wall, 115 feet; thence North parallel with the East line of said Block,
39.39 feet; thence East parallel with the South line of said Block,
10.75 feet; thence North parallel with the East line of said Block,
11 feet; thence East to a point in the East line of said Block, distant
101.10 feet North of the Southeast corner of said Block; and thence
South along the East line of said Block, 50.49 feet to the point of
beginning.
PARCEL 2: That portion of Block 4 of the Town of Santa Ana, in the City
of Santa Ana, as shown on a map recorded in Book 2, Page 51 of Miscell-
aneous Records, in the Office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles
County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeasterly corner of said Block and running thence
North along the East line thereof 50.61 feet to the center of an 8-3/4
tit inches brick wall: running thence West parallel with the South line
of said Block 4 and along the center line of said wall, 115 feet; thence
South parallel with the East line of said Block 4, 50.61 feet to a
point in the South line thereof; and thence East along the South line,
115 feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING the North 0.37 feet.
ALSO EXCEPTING the Southerly 40 feet.
ALSO EXCEPTING from the above that portion lying within a spandrel
shaped parcel bounded Southerly by the North line of said Southerly 40
feet, bounded Easterly by the East line of said Block 4, bounded North-
westerly by the arc of a curve concave Northwesterly having a radius of
25 feet and tangent to said Southerly and Easterly boundaries.
