RESOLUTION NO. 81-76
A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING
THE CHAIRMAN TO EXECUTE A COMMERCIAL REHA-
BILITATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE AGENCY AND
OTIS BUILDING PARTNERSHIP II
FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 101/103 W. FOURTH
AND PROVIDING FOR THE EXEMPTION OF SAID
PROPERTY FROM ACQUISITION BY THE AGENCY BY
EMINENT DOMAIN UPON CERTAIN CONDITIONS
,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Community Redevelopment
Agency of the City of Santa Ana as follows:
1. The Chairman of the Agency is hereby
authorized to execute on behalf of the Agency that certain
agreement entitled .Commercial Rehabilitation Participation
Agreement, (101/103 W. Fourth),. form dated 3/25/81, between
the Agency and Otis Building Partnership II, copies of which
are on file in the office of the Executive Director of the
Agency and to which reference is hereby made for full
particulars, which Agreement pertains to property
(hereinafter referred to as the .subject property")
specifically described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and
incorporated herein by referen~e.
2. The Executive Director is hereby authorized
to take all steps, and to sign all documents and instruments
necessary to implement and carry out this Agreement on
behalf of the Agency.

3. Upon issuance of a Certificate of Completion
pursuant to the abovesaid Agreement, the Executive Director
of the Agency shall cause this Resolution to be recorded in
the Official Records of Orange County. From and after the
date of such recordation, the subject property shall be
exempt from acquisition by the Agency by eminent domain in
accordance with section 33399(g) of the Community
Redevelopment Law, subject to the condition that, in the
event of the substantial destruction of the building
rehabilitated pursuant to the abovesaid Agreement, said
exemption shall terminate.

EXHIBIT A
The property situated in the State of California, County of
Orange, and described as follows:
PARCEL 1: Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 1 in
Block 14 of the Town of Santa Ana, as shown on a map recorded
in Book 2, Page 51 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles
County, California; thence West along the South line of said
Lot 1, 46.83 feet; thence Northerly 69.71 feet along a line
which if extended Northerly would intersect the North line of
Lot 4 in said Block 14 at a point 46,90 feet West of the
Northeast corner of said Lot 4; thence West 0.37 feet, thence
Northerly 30.29 feet along a line parallel to the line of the
second course (if extended Northerly) to a point in the North
line of said Lot 4, 47.30 feet West of the Northeast corner of
said Lot 4; thence East along the North line of said Lot 4,
47.30 feet to the Northeast corner of said Lot 4; thence South
along the East line of said Lots 4 and 1, 100 feet to the
point of beginning.
PARCEL 2: Beginning at the Sou'~heast corner of Lot 5 in Block
14 of the Town of Santa Ana, as shown on a map recorded in
Book 2, Page 51 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County,
California; thence West along the South line of said Lot 5,
46.93 feet; thence North 0.76 feet; thence East 46.93 feet to
a point on the East line of said Lot 5, 0.44 feet North of the
point of beginning and thence South 0.44 feet to the point of
beginning.
