RESOLUTION NO. 81-75
A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING
THE CHAIRMAN TO EXECUTE A COMMERCIAL REHA-
BILITATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE AGENCY AND
MASAO M. UYESUGI AND MARY M. UYESUGI
FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT
317 W. FOURTH
AND PROVIDING FOR THE EXEMPTION OF SAID
PROPERTY FROM ACQUISITION BY THE AGENCY BY
EMINENT DOMAIN UPON CERTAIN CONDITIONS
BE IT RESOLVED by the Community Redevelopment
Agency of the City of Santa Ana as follows:
1. The Chairman of the Agency is hereby
authorized to execute on behalf of the Agency that certain
agreement entitled .Commercia1 Rehabilitation Participation
Agreement, (317 W. Fourth),"
form dated 3/25/81, between the Agency and
Masao M. Uyesugi and Mary M. Uyesugi,
copies of which are on file in the office of the Executive
Director of the Agency and to which reference is hereby made
for full particulars, which Agreement pertains to property
(hereinafter referred to as the .subject property")
specifically described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference.
2. The Executive Director is hereby authorized
to take all steps, and to sign all documents and instruments
necessary to implement and carry out this Agreement on
behalf of the Agency.

3. Upon issuance of a Certificate of Completion
pursuant to the abovesaid Agreement, the Executive Director
of the Agency shall cause this Re90lution to be recorded in
the Official Records of Orange County. From and after the
date of such recordation, the subject property 9hall be
exempt from acquisition by the Agency by eminent domain in
accordance with section 33399(g) of the Community
Redevelopment Law, subject to the condition that, in the
event of the substantial destruction of the building
rehabilitated pursuant to the abovesaid Agreement, said
exemption shall terminate.

EXHIBIT A
All that certain land situated in the State of California,
County of Orange, City of Santa Ana, described as follows:
Commencing at a point on the north side of Fourth Street, in
the City of Santa Ana, 64 feet and 4 inches west from the
southeast corner of Lot 17 of the Birch Addition to Santa Ana,
as shown on a map recorded in Book 3, Page 145 of Miscellaneous
Records of Los Angeles County, California, being on the center
line of the east wall of the brick building erected by John S.
Haywood; thence north along said center line 100 feet; thence
west 21 feet and 4-1/2 inches to the center line of the west
wall of said building; thence south on said center line 100
feet, and thence east 21 feet and 4-1/2 inches to the point of
beginning, and being a portion of Lot 18 of said Birch Addition.
