A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING
THE CHAIRMAN TO EXECUTE A COMMERCIAL REHA-
BILITATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE AGENCY AND
DICK BEEM AND SUE L. BEEM
FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT
223 W. FOURTH AND 405/411 N. BROADWAY
AND PROVIDING FOR THE EXEMPTION OF SAID
PROPERTY FROM ACQUISITION BY THE AGENCY BY
EMINENT DOMAIN UPON CERTAIN CONDITIONS
BE IT RESOLVED by the Community Redevelopment
Agency of the City of Santa Ana a9 folloW9:
1. The Chairman of the Agency i9 hereby
authorized to execute on behalf of the Agency that certain
agreement entitled "Commercial Rehabilitation Participation
Agreement, (223 W. Fourth and 405/411 N. Broadway),"
form dated 3/25/81, between the Agency and
Dick Beem and Sue L. Beem,
copie9 of which are on file in the office of the Executive
Director of the Agency and to which reference i9 hereby made
for full particular9, which Agreement pertain9 to property
(hereinafter referred to a9 the "9ubject property") .
9pecifically de9cribed in Exhibit A, attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference.
2. The Executive Director i9 hereby authorized
to take all steps, and to sign all document9 and instrument9
neces9ary to implement and carry out thi9 Agreement on
behalf of the Agency.

3. Upon i99uance of a Certificate of Completion
pur9uant to the abovesaid Agreement, the Executive Director
of the Agency 9hall cause thi9 Re901ution to be recorded in
the Official Recbrds of Orange. County. From and after the
date of 9uch recordation, the 9ubject property 9hall be
exempt from acquisition by the Agency by eminent domain in
accordance with section 33399(g) of the Community
Redevelopment Law, subject to the condition that, in the
event of the substantial destruction of the building
rehabilitated pursuant to the above said Agreement, said
exemption 9hall terminate.

The real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange,
State of California, described as follows:
PARCEL 1: The West 105 feet of Lot 6 in Block 13 of the Town of
Santa Ana, as shown on a map recorded in Book 2, Page 51 of
Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California.
PARCEL 2: Commencing at a point in the center of a brick wall
105 feet and 2-3/4 inches West of the Southeast corner of Lot 2
in Block 13 of Town of Santa Ana, as shown on a map recorded in
Book 2, Page 51 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County,
California; running thence North 100 feet to the North line of Lot
3 in said Block 13; thence West 19 feet and 9-1/4 inches, more or
less, to the Northwest corner of said Lot 3; thence South 100
feet along the West line of said Lots 3 and 2 to the Southwest
corner of said Lot 2; thence East 19 feet and 9-1/4 inches, more
or less, to the point of beginning.
