OPEN SESSION
The City Attorney advised the Redevelopment Agency Board that correspondence was
received in the Office of the Executive Director late on Friday March 18, following the
posting of the Agency's executive session agenda, threatening litigation against the
Agency and the nature of the threat does not permit waiting until the next scheduled
Agency meeting to deal with the matter.
The City Attorney recommended the following agenda item be added to the Closed
Session Agenda:
Motion:
Find, pursuant to Government Code Section 54954.2(b)(2), based
upon the foregoing facts, that there is a need to take immediate
action, and the need for action came to the attention of the Agency
subsequent to the posting of the Agenda. (Unanimous vote
necessary)
