RESOLUTION NO. 2002-10
A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA ADOPTING LOCAL RELOCATION
GUIDELINES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, AS FOLLOWS:
1. Findinqs. The Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana
conclusively finds, determines and declares as follows:
a. Pursuant to California Law, including but not limited to Government Code
section 7276(a), public entities such as the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of
Santa Ana ("Agency"), which acquire private property for public projects must in certain defined
circumstances offer relocation assistance to persons displaced by the project and make certain
payments for relocation.
b. In order to implement these requirements, it is appropriate for the Agency
to adopt relocation guidelines.
c. Attached to this resolution, and incorporated herein by this reference, are
the current State Relocation Guidelines.
2. Adoption of Relocation Guidelines. The State of California Relocation
Guidelines, as amended from time to time, are hereby adopted as the Agency's local relocation
guidelines. These guidelines shall be utilized by the Agency to the extent permitted by law.
ADOPTED this 18th day of November, 2002.
