HomeMy WebLinkAbout02-26-1985MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA February 26, 1985 At 7:04 p.m., the Mayor called to order the Joint Meeting of the City Council/~owntown Develo~ent Cor~aission and the Cor~ity Redeveloument Agency in the Standard Concrete Building, 117 West Fourth Street. Councilm~mbers present were P. Lee Johnson, R. W. Luxembourger, Patricia A. McGuigan, Dan Young and Mayor Griset. Also present were City Manager Robert C. Bobb, City Attorney Edward J. Cooper and Clerk of the Council Janice C. Guy. Councilmembers Wilson B. Hart and John Acosta joined the meeting at 7:08 p.m. and 7:10 p.m., respectively. The Council recessed to the Redevelo~ent Agency and reconvened at 8:47 p.m., with all members present. RESOLUTION - SANTA ANA REGISTER OF HISTORICAL PROPERTY MOTION: Adopt resolution. RESOLUTION NO. 85-43 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DESIGNATING CERTAIN BUILDINGS AS HISTORICAL PROPERTY FOR INCLUSION IN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA REGISTER OF HISTORICAL PROPERTY Kleidosty House Dr. Ball House Dr. Hervey House Ebell Club House 2526 North Santiago Street 1119 North Bush Street 1209 North Spurgeon Street 625 North French Street MOTION: Young SECOND: McGuigan VOTE: AYES: NOES: ABSENT: Acosta, Griset, Hart, Johnson, Luxembourger, McGuigan, Young None None FILE 205 COUNCIL CO~3NICATIONS Vice Mayor Johnson distributed copies of proposals for evaluation of the Council appointees by two professional manag~anent finns. The Mayor indicated the matter would be discussed in more detail at the next Council meeting. CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 84 FEBRUARY 26, 1985 REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL MOTION: Authorize issuance of Requests for Proposal for professionall qualified bond counsel and underwriting services for the City's proposed Master Financing Plan for capital improvement projects ($125,000,000).
