FIRST AMENDMENT TO
CONSULTANT AGREEMENT

THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO CONSULTANT AGREEMENT, is entered
into on....7U.Ll/ (/ ,2002, by and between Hondo Company, Inc" a
California corporation ("Consultant") and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and
municipal corporation of the State of California ("City").
Recitals:
A. The parties entered into an Agreement dated April 30, 2002, (hereinafter "said
Agreement") by which Consultant has fabricated and installed wrought iron fencing.
B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to
expand the Scope of Service and to increase the compensation to cover the additional
servIce.
Wherefore, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and subject
to all the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this First
Amendment to Consultant Agreement, the parties agree as follows:
1. Paragraph 1. SCOPE OF SERVICES, shall be amended to read as follows:
"Consultant shall perform those services as set forth in Exhibit A to said Agreement
and Exhibit A-I, attached hereto."
2. Paragraph 2. a. COMPENSATION, shall be amended to read as follows:
"a. City agrees to pay, and Consultant agrees to accept as total payment for its
services, the rates and charges identified in Exhibit A. The total sum to be expended
under this Agreement, shall not exceed $8,000 during the term of this Agreement."
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this First Amendment to
Consultant Agreement on the date and year first written above.

Dear Carolyn:
Per your request, we can cover the crash enclosure gates at
the train station with a translucent metal paneling to limit
visual abilities. This would consist of 24 gauge, perforated
sheeting, containing tiny holes that limit the view. This material
would be welded to the inside of the gates and painted to match.
Cost for this work would be $1,485.00 for the two exiting gates.
