An informal agreement with the Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce to
establish a Joint Budget Task Force comprised of Chamber of Commerce
members and City officiais to meet year-round to analyze the City's
annual budget needs and present recommendations to the City Council.
* Immediate revocation of the proposed Utility Users Tax increase in the
event the State Legislature revokes the County Jail Booking Fees.
* Allocation of additional revenue raised as a result of the increased Utility
Users Tax to public safety needs.

David Carleen, 1121 W. Civic Center, reported a parking problem in his neighborhood and
requested City staff remove "No Parking" signs on Shelton Street immediately.
Margaret E. FanSs, 15200 S. Magnolia, #43, Westminster, reported threats to her personal
safety from Jeff Hawkins and Fernando Pena.

COUNCIL COMMENTS
Councilmember McGuigan encouraged the listening audience to attend both the July 4th
celebration sponsored by the City at Santa Ana Stadium, and the Annual Rock & Roll at the
Santa Ana Zoo on July 13, 1991 at 6:30 p.m.
Mayor Pro Tern Pulido requested that a motorhome parking ordinance and a review of the
Gang Task Force Program be set as Agenda items for the next Public Safety Committee
Meeting.

Councilmember Griset noted the State fiscal crunch was adversely impacting school athletic
programs and encouraged new partnership efforts between the City and the School Districts.
Mayor Young commended the City Manager and the Executive Director of Finance and
Management Services on their preparation of a very professional budget document.

City of Santa Ana vs. Henderson et al, revised settlement in the amount of
$475,000.00 to Super A Market for goodwill and fixtures that cannot be moved.

amount of $12,320.00.

amount of $25,305.00.
