The City and Contractor entered into that certain Agreement, entitled "AGREEMENT . bJ..
BETWEEN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND SAN JOAQUIN CHEMICAL, INC!', (. . Y
hereinafter referred to as "said Agreement", dated q IJ7 ,1999, for Contractor rl
to provide water treatment, inspections, testing and analysis for the Santa Ana Police
Department Facility.

B. The pa.rties now desire to amend the terrn and the "Scope of Services" included in said
Agreement.
WHEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective promises hereinafter
contained and made, and subject to all the terrns and conditions of said Agreement as hereby
amended, the parties do hereby agree as follows:

I. The term of said Agreement, which is contained in Section I., shall be amended, to exercise
one of the two one-year options for renewal for continued service at the same price and
compensation, therefore, the new date ofterrnination shall be September 30, 200 I; and
2. The "Scope of Services" (Section 3. of said Agreement) shall be amended, to include services
provided at other City locations, including The Depot, on an as-needed basis.
3. Except as hereinabove modified, the terms and conditions of said Agreement remain
unchanged and in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Amendment to said
Agreement on the date and year first above written.
