NO. 00-064) r2J!ft2- CITY MANAGER CONTINUED TO ------ FILE NUMBER RECOMMENDED ACTION Renew the contract with Golden Office 24' x 60' veterinary trailer for a $15,451.44. Trailers, 12 -month Inc. for the lease of a period in the amount of DISCUSSION On June 19, 2000 the City Council awarded a contract to Golden Office Trailers, Inc. for a veterinary facility at the Santa Ana Zoo. The trailer provides the required space necessary for a surgical room, X-ray room, and an animal treatment and holding area. The original contract was for a 60-month period. On August 1, 2005, City Council approved a 12-month lease extension. The Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency wishes to continue the lease for an additional 12 months. The vendor has performed satisfactorily during the past contract period and has agreed to renew the contract without an increase in pricing. Staff recommends a renewal of the contract. FISCAL IMPACT Funds are available in the Santa Ana Zoo Other Contractual Services account (account no, 11-247-6291).
