S MAIN STREET REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA AMENDMENT
Public hearing to consider an amendment to the South Main Street Redevelopment Plan
proposing to extend the Plan's time frame for incurring debt through January 1, 2014 and to
September 2007 for using eminent domain as authorized by the California Community
Redevelopment Law, to modify the finance limits established in the Plan to $2 billion, and to
provide for additional public facility and infrastructure projects to be implemented in order to
complete redevelopment of the Project Area.
Legal Notice published in the Regismr on May 8, 15, 22, and 29, 1995
Planning Commission approved conformance of the amendment to the City's General Plan and
certification of the Environmental Impact Report on April 10, 1995 by a 6/0 vote with
Doughty absent
The Mayor opened the joint public hearing regarding the South Main Street Redevelopment
Project Area Amendment at 5:36 p.m.
