Modification
This modification consists of 5 pages.
1. RECITALS
A. The South Coast Air Quality Management District (hereinafter "AQMD") and the City of Santa
Ana (hereinafter "CONTRACTOR") have previously executed a Contract No. 02154 to purchase
two (2) CNG dump trucks and four (4) CNG street sweepers.
B. CONTRACTOR has purchased the four (4) CNG street sweepers but due to unforeseen
constraints, will not be able to purchase the two (2) dump trucks. In addition, it is necessary to
extend the term of Contract to allow for the full five (5) year reporting of the street sweepers.
Therefore, a modification to this Contract is necessary to extend the date by which performance
must be completed and decrease the maximum amount payable.
2. MODIFICATION - The parties therefore agree to modify the existing Contract as follows:
A. The term of this Contract is extended for an additional period commencing March 11, 2007 and
terminating November 10, 2008.
B. The amount payable for performance under this modification is decreased by Ten Thousand
Four Hundred Sixty Nine Dollars ($10,469). The total amount payable by AQMD shall not
exceed Nineteen Thousand Six Hundred Eighty Five Dollars ($19,685), inclusive of the original
award as shown in the table below:

C. Attachment 1, Amendment 1 - Statement of Work and Project Milestones, attached hereto and
included herein by this reference, supersedes the original Statement of Work and Project
Milestones.
D. Attachment 2, Amendment 1 - Cost Schedule, attached hereto and included herein by this
reference, supersedes the original Cost Schedule.
E. All other provisions of the above-referenced Contract shall remain in full force and effect.

ATTACHMENT I-AMENDMENT 1
STATEMENT OF WORK
CITY OF SANTA ANA
FY 2000-01 CARL MOYER PROGRAM
CONTRACTOR agrees to purchase 2 CNG dump trucks and 4 CNG street sweepers for deployment in
the city fleet. Tasks necessary to implement this intent are as follows:
Task 1:
Procurement of Vehicles
1.1 CONTRACTOR shall provide evidence of completion of a competitive bid for purchase of 2-
CNG dump trucks and 4 CNG street sweepers for deployment in the city fleet.
1.2 CONTRACTOR shall provide documentation of selection of a vendor for procurement of the
vehicles. This documentation shall include, at a minimum, identification of vehicle manufacturer;
price of the vehicle including any taxes, delivery fees and other costs; identification of the engine
make, model, and model year.
Task 2:
Operation of Vehicles
2.1 CONTRACTOR shall place the 2 CNG dump trucks and 4 CNG street sweepers into regular
city service, and shall inform the AQMD where the vehicles are garaged.
2.2 CONTRACTOR agrees to operate the 2 CNG dump trucks for a minimum of ten years and the
4 CNG street sweepers for a minimum of five years.
2.3 CONTRACTOR agrees to make operational information for the vehicles available, upon
reasonable notice, to AQMD staff during the life of the vehicles. This information shall include annual
mileage accumulation and amount of fuel consumed.
2.4 CONTRACTOR shall provide identification and description of where the vehicles will be
fueled. CONTRACTOR shall provide evidence of fueling capability at its own site or provide
evidence of a contractual relationship with a fuel provider who is capable of fueling the vehicles.
Task 3:
Reportin2
3.1 CONTRACTOR shall provide quarterly reports, annual reports, and a 2-page summary report
as described in the Deliverables, Attachment IA.

FY 2000-01 CARL MOYER PROGRAM
CONTRACTOR shall be reimbursed for the difference in purchase price bet'Neen 2 CNG dump
trucks and 4 CNG street sweepers and similar conventionally fueled vehicles. The differential
shall not exceed the sum of$30,154 $19,685. All invoices must be accompanied by supporting
documentation, including vehicle invoices, and a written report documenting delivery,
acceptance and placement into service.
