TH1S SECOND AMENDMENT TO CONSULTANT AGREEMENT is entered
into on August 17,2006, hy and hetvvccn Leticia Quiroz ("Consultant") and the City of
Santa Ana, 3. charter city' and mUlllclpaJ corporation of the State of Califomia ("City").
RECITALS:
A. The parties entered into Agreement N-2004.133, uateu November 4, 2004
(hcn.:inafter "said Agreement") by which Consultant has provided teacher assistance
for jail inmate instmction in GED and computer classes.
B. In accordance \vitb the lemlS and conditions of said Agreement, the partics wish to
extend said Agreement for an additional one-year term and increast' compensation to
pay for services during the extended term.
\\TIEREFORE, in consid(;ratioll of the covenants contamed in said Agreement, and
subject to all the terms and conditions of said Agreement, cxcept those amcnded in this
Second Amendment tn Consultant Agreement, the parties agrcl: as follows:
1. Section 2.a., COMPENSA TlO'l, sboll be amended to increase compensation by
$] 0,000.00 to pay for services during lhe extended tenn.

Section 3, TERM, shall be amended to extend the termination date hom August 31 ,
2006 through August 31,2007.
3_ Except as herein amended, all tenus and conditions of said Agreement shall remain in
full force and crrecl.
