THIS THIRD AMENDMENT TO CONSULTANT AGREEMENT is entered
into on June 15,2007, by and between Leticia Quiroz ("Consultant") and the City of
Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("City").
RECITALS:
A. The parties entered into Agreement N-2004-133, dated November 4, 2004
(hereinafter "said Agreement") by which Consultant has provided teacher assistance
for jail inmate instruction in GED and computer classes.
B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to
extend said Agreement for an additional ten month term and increase compensation to
pay for services during the extended term.
WHEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and
subject to all the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this
Third Amendment to Consultant Agreement, the parties agree as follows:
I. Section 2.a., COMPENSATION, shall be amended to increase compensation by
$10,000.00 to pay for services during the extended term.
2. Section 3, TERM, shall be amended to extend the termination date from August 31,
2007 through June 30, 2008.
3. Except as herein amended, all terms and conditions of said Agreement shall remain in
fun force and effect.
